Funded and operated by the South Pasadena Preservation Foundation, the South Pasadena Historical Museum provides a view into the culture and history that shaped South Pasadena. Formerly the home of Meridian Iron Works, which created wrought-iron products at the location, the building was purchased and restored by the City of South Pasadena. The South Pasadena Preservation Foundation started the museum in the 1980s and has operated it free to the public ever since.
